Book Club Expo in San Jose, CA

Jean and I had a great time hearing authors and being inspired as to what we'll read next. The weather was perfect and the Expo was organized to perfection. We dragged many pounds of books, free and otherwise, back on the plane. It was a real upper.

2008 Sylvia's Birthday Celebration

Two pages from the texture ABC book I made for Sylvia. The idea is (since she is so tactile) to say and touch the letter, each of a differerent texture, and then draw a picture of a word that starts with that sound which will then be pasted on the blank part of the page.



I made this set of dice from tissue boxes covered with felt. There are many counting games that can be played with them.
