We attended a piano concert by Howard Cowles at the Nixon Library theater on Easter Sunday. He played his original pieces, and what ever the audience wanted to hear. For me it was "Somewhere in Time," and he played it. I liked the scripture he put on the program: Ecc. 4:9-10, "Two are better than one; because they have a good reward
for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow:
but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help
him up." We took a tour of the library after the concert. Both he and Pat were buried on the property.
Amazingly, the grounds included the original home his father built, and all the furnishings from his youth had been preserved in storage by a family member after his mother's death.
