Theater Festival at CSUF

Jean called to say she had seen a production at UVU called Nosferatu and that it would be performed in Fullerton, CA at CSUF for the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival in a few days, and we should go see it. We drove over there early to catch the first production, As You Like It, (a terrific performance), then we ate pasta and garlic bread in their Garden Cafe. The weather was perfect and there was a band playing on the green. A couple girls were sitting under a tarp awning selling fundraiser baked items for a new health center there, so that's where we got our dessert. Next was Jesus Hopped the A Train, which was very well done, and during the wait for the next play, I met a lovely woman, so we conversed while Lee scouted around. Finally we saw Nosferatu, a play that compares to nothing we have ever seen on stage. It involved a crew of actors and technicians that created the old 1922 film before our eyes and the film that they were creating was shown simultaneously on a very large screen above. It was genius the way all the participants flawlessly performed, changed sets, and set up and moved cameras, and lights. What a great 10 hours!
